Can’t believe it!

Just getting ready to go to bed.  Just crossed my mind that I am going to wake up old enough for Social Security!  Can’t believe it!  I guess time really does fly when you are having fun.  I’m just happy that I have been blessed with good health, a good family life, and a great job.  It really is fun – God has been very good to me. 

Still alot of things I would like to try and I think it’s good to have desires and welcome challenges.  The alternative is probably a pretty deep rut.  I still need to figure out how to pile up about 40 years worth of solid retirement income!  I’ve been called alot of things in my life – some I don’t even know – but I’ll bet I’ve never been called "thrifty" – or "financially conservative" for that matter.  That’s okay though – that’s the path I’ve chosen and it truly has been a blast to be able to travel with family and see some stuff while we are in possession of our health.  I would much rather say "I’ve done that" than " I wish I would have….".  You just never know until you give it a shot. 

     I think it’s bedtime now …. can’t believe I’m sitting here rambling.  I’m too old for this shtuff! :-)
