Saturday Evening

Got alot done today. Big B’s furniture finally came in. Had to borrow the neighbors pickup truck to go pick it up. It had a battery problem but after he got it started it ran fine. Vic & I went over to the furniture store to load up and I killed it. Deader than a doornail still so had to call the neighbor. He brought his other truck over & gave me another jump-start and we got the furniture home! You just can’t borrow good equipment anymore! 
B and I and Vic got everything put together and Vic and B got all of his stuff put away. Nice looking digs he has down there in the basement – and really nice furniture – nice gift from his parents.
B is working at Safeway now and really seems to like it. He will do well there so get your stock purchased now!
I have a meeting in Cheyenne next Friday afternoon so Vic is going down with me and we are heading for OP as soon as I am done …. hopefully around 3′ish. I only want to do about 6 – 7 hours then get a room and drive the rest on Saturday. Ryan won’t be home from his DMB trip until Monday but Vic and I plan to impose on Rebecca, Spencer, Hoover, Sophie, and BGE sometime Saturday afternoon. There is a birthday gathering for Spencer on Sunday – then Ryan needs to figure out how to get us to the Lake for a day or two……..I want to ride on the big boat at least once!
The week after we are in Kansas/Missouri I have a Board meeting over in Rock Springs and the following week there is a rumor out there that I am going to Germany for a week or so. My boss says we are going but we don’t have any plane tickets yet – I’ll just say maybe until they are purchased. Kind of weird – the meetings sort of come together over there and then something changes I guess – still don’t know for sure when we are coming back if we do go.
Well – BO & Biden are really messing up the TV – gonna be a long week. As soon as McCain lets his VP pick be known I figure things will really heat up. This Biden guy has alot of rethinking to do to line up with BO I think – they have been coming from different sides fairly consistently. Of course if you keep changing your mind it’s hard for the other guy to keep up – and when both keep changing their minds it’s a total crapshoot. Anyway – gonna be a lonnnng time till November.
